This section includes all legislation and laws regulating customs work, ranging from Law No. 40 of 2002 promulgating the Customs Law and its executive regulation, through the decisions and circulars that have been issued to regulate customs procedures applicable in the State, including those dealing with customs tariffs, customs service fees, border measures for protection of intellectual property rights. This is in addition to anti-money laundering and counter terrorism financing, combating narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, trade in endangered species, to other legislation which are related in application to customs work and its official duties.
