Facilitation & Compliance Programs

The General Authority of Customs (GAC) believes that customs work needs reconciliation between facilitation and commitment. It constantly seeks to achieve a balance between the two sides when executing all customs operations and providing customs facilities that are appropriate for economic sectors associated with the supply chain in international trade.

GAC tries, through the implementation of these procedures, to provide available facilities to ensure that customs data are entered and processed fast and that its contents are released as quickly as possible. This approach would contribute to enhancing and fostering the partnership and communication between GAC and public and private sectors, as well as providing appropriate procedures for the purpose of implementing intellectual property rights protection mechanisms and their related rights for all parties generally involved in the business process, in conformity with standards of the World Customs Organization.
