Brief
Based on QNV 2030, the GAC has developed electronic commercial transactions to provide a secure channel for suppliers to save time and effort in registration, commercial participation and communication through the website via the Internet starting from the stage of inviting suppliers to participate in commercial operations until the bank transfer to the supplier’s account.

Procurement Department's mission
- Implementing sound and reliable procurement practices, providing high-quality services through teamwork, and ensuring that all suppliers we deal with are contacted.
- Encouraging and attracting strong participation of workers in the field of trade and industry in commercial operations
- Supporting and promoting Qatari small and medium industrial companies.
- Ensuring trade transparency.

The GAC constantly requests various types of materials, services, and others in order to promote and support the operations in the Authority. All departmental requirements are purchased by the Procurement Department located on the seventh floor of the main Authority building in the West Bay – P.O. Box 81, Doha - Qatar, and all announcements and invitations to bid are processed through the website.
